Kseina Kazima AIESEC volunteer from Russia

My name is Ksenia Kazmina. I’m 20 years old. I was born in a small town, but now I live in the big city of Rostov-on-Don. I am a student of the Presidential Academy. My major is international relations and the international economic. I love traveling. Last year I was lucky enough to go to Hungry with my parents. I had lived in Budapest for 4 days. For me it was an amazing journey. I discovered a new country and a new culture. I met interesting people, visited some historical sights and tried very tasty national cuisine. After this journey, I really fell in love with Budapest. And I really want to be there again.

My straight points are: I am very sociable, creative, adaptable, responsible and punctual person. I know how to organize people and work in a team. I have many hobbies: volunteering, social engineering, development of student self-government.

I am involved in social entrepreneurship, I’m working on my own project, so the development of entrepreneurial skills is really relevant to me. Our team has planned and arranged many events. We also deal with the socialization and integration of blind people. Also, I am the chairman of the student government in my institute. I am the organizer of various educational and leisure events.

Why do I want to go to the opportunity? This is a new exciting experience for me and I also want to improve my level of English. This opportunity means incredible experience and personal growth. It is important because self-development is an essential part of my life as I believe that life is given to grow and become a better person. Last summer, I worked as a social engineering supervisor. I taught children to create their own projects. We also organized a lot of activities on ecological dewatering, conducted various trainings and workshops.

I want to learn as much as possible. First of all, it is important to work in a team to develop leadership qualities and abilities. I am interested in this because of the opportunity that allows me to get to know a lot of interesting people. For me it’s not just the discovery of a new place, it’s a social platform where I can realize myself.

Farewell

My name is Ksenia, I’m from Russia and I’m 20 years old. I study at the Presidential Academy. My specialty is international relations and world economy. I was born in the Ukraine, but in a couple of years, I and my family moved to Russia. For me Russia is a home where I have a loving family and good friends. I am leading an active lifestyle. For me it is very important to meet new people, to learn from them something new. In addition to studying, I develop students’ life in my academy; I organize various educational, cultural, sporting and entertaining events and I also have my own project. I work with blind people; I try to adapt them in the society of our city. Travelling is also extremely important to me. I have a small dream in life: to visit 100 countries in the world. So far, I’ve visited 14. Since I ‘ve been studying international relations, it is very interesting to get to know new cultures, traditions and customs. Therefore, I closely interact with AIESEC; this organization gives the chance not only getting to know new countries, but also to work in them, to become their part.

Last year I had a small journey to Hungary, I stayed a couple of days in Budapest.  This city struck me with the beauty, the atmosphere, feeling of freedom and ease. I liked the culture of Hungary very much, some customs with which I managed to get acquainted. My first thought, when I had the chance to work in another country, was Hungary. Now I would like to tell some things that are very important for me, devoted to Csányi Foundation. I am so happy that I was a part of this huge family. Words won’t be enough to express what I feel in my heart. I was very happy that in Hungary there is such a Foundation, because I’ve never met anything like this before. It is a fantastic organization. I was busy every day which gave me pleasure.  I never felt alone because I was surrounded by matchless people. I learned a lot about the culture of Hungary and learned to create many interesting things.

I didn’t manage to rest much during these six weeks, but it seemed as one instant week. It was improbable experience, which I will remember all my life. For 6 weeks, I had five different camps not only in Hungary, but also in other countries. Each place will be remembered on my own way. All of them were unforgettable. I cannot allocate any specific places because I am connected by special memories, people and events with each. Most of the time, I was struck on people in Hungary. How friendly, kind and attentive they are. It is a small, but amazing country with rich history, culture and beautiful nature.

I hope that I could acquaint you with the culture of Russia at least partially. It is a huge and an immense country. I tried to tell about our culture and customs, the main holidays and festivals. I will remember your sparkling eyes when you were listening to me. I would like to thank the Founder of this Foundation.  Dr Csányi Sándor – you, the surprising person who created something tremendous in this world. I think that many countries need to follow your example. Thanks to all organizers of each camp. Not only you do 200% every time but you also give this fund the soul and the heart. Each child here feels a part of huge family. Which not only accompanies them for many years but this family as their second house also gives necessary knowledge and support.

One of the most important people for me in the Foundation: Miklós, I will never forget the city of Tokaj and your house. It was a tremendous and a sincere evening. I thank you for the fact that you were always near, gave me very interesting books, which I will surely bring to Russia. Judit, you were a mother to me for six weeks who always cared for me and solved all problems. Whatever I have turned to you, you managed to solve it. I am surprised where you are gaining your endless power, energy and eternal optimism. Sometimes I even kindly envy on how positive you are – it is a treasure in you. One of the kindest and smiling tutor Zoli, I will always remember how we spoke about the culture of Russia. In addition, I was happy as far as you love my country. I taught you new words, and you were a good pupil. Barnabás and Ildikó, I thank you for fine parties of table tennis. Every evening we played as last time, and the sweet feeling of a victory did not abandon us. Piroska, I will never forget as we danced at that festival. Andi, thank you for the organization of the last creative camp. In this place, I really experienced fire of all children as far as they are talented. I could not but thank Kinga Kiraly. You became for me very native person. I was very glad to live in your family and to be acquainted with your family. Our trip to Croatia will remain in my memory. I will wait for you in Russia.

There is no wish to finish this travel, but time obliges. I am very glad that I became a part of Csányi Foundation. Hungary became my second home, and Csányi Foundation became my second family. I hope that in the future I will have an opportunity to return and to meet all these amazing people again. Huge thanks to you for this opportunity. It is number one experience, which will remain in my memory for the rest of my life.
