Sport achievements

“Anyone who knows me is aware that sport is a very important part of my life. Anything connected to the joy of movement excites me — football, basketball, handball, volleyball, even arm wrestling, billiards, or table football, and let’s not forget chess, which brings me great joy as well.

This spring, I participated in several competitions with my school and my football team, of which I am a registered player. There were intense matches and some beautiful goals that helped serve my team. Sport even plays a role in my future plans — I’m seriously considering studying it at the university level.

In our school’s arm wrestling competition, I earned second place, and I also won the chess championship among a dozen skilled players. My prize was a cool chess set, which I’m really proud of. Our volleyball team reached the finals of the 12th National AJTP Volleyball Tournament. Although the gold medal would have shone a bit brighter, we fought hard and just barely missed the top spot. Still, the silver medal is an achievement I value, and I was honored to receive the tournament’s Best Player award as well.

As a registered player, I play football for Kaposfüred, where I recently improved our team’s result by scoring two goals over the weekend. I always look forward to the foundation’s football league matches — naturally, I’ve signed up for the Zánka Cup too. Now that the weather is finally nice, we’re getting the bikes out and gearing up for longer rides.

So, sports — in every shape and form — remain a constant in my life. I hope others feel the same way or will come to feel that way too.”
