“<\/strong>This school year, the Children’s Parliament is also launching a sports championships of football and chess. This year more than a hundred people entered the various sporting events. In keeping with tradition, the first sporting events in autumn start with the football and chess championships, which were held yesterday at the Klebelsberg College in Kaposv\u00e1r. We were especially pleased that several girls entered the football tournament, so we were able to start two teams for them to compete against each other. The matches are also traditionally officiated by \u00c1d\u00e1m Papdi from Szeged, who has passed his official refereeing exam in previous years. It is also a pleasure to see that more and more people are entering our chess tournament every year, with 27 young people sitting down at the chess board this year”<\/p>\n

The current results of the football tournament<\/strong> are as follows:<\/p>\n

10-14 age:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Claret 6 points<\/p>\n

2. Orange 4 points<\/p>\n

3. Light green 3 points<\/p>\n

4. Purple 3 points<\/p>\n

Gyula Kov\u00e1cs leads the scoring charts with 6 goals scored.<\/p>\n

14-20 age:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. lemon yellow 6 points<\/p>\n

2. dark green 3 points<\/p>\n

3. Red 0 points<\/p>\n

Dominik Steinbach and \u00c1rmin Kuck\u00f3 lead the scorers with 5-5 goals scored.<\/p>\n

On the girls’ side, the white team has won both its matches so far. Evelin Buzs\u00e1ki scored 7 goals.<\/p>\n

The current standings of the chess championship<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Bencze P\u00e9ter B\u00f3dog and Bali J\u00e1nos 10 – 10 points<\/p>\n

Nothing is decided, we are excited to continue in the spring rounds.<\/p>\n

On 26 October, the first Children’s Parliament meeting of this school year took place in Kaposv\u00e1r, in addition to the Football and Chess Championships. President Bor\u00f3ka S\u00fcle opened the meeting to the Children’s Parliament members and then discussed the agenda items. The main topic on the agenda was the Life Path Festival, but also the budget, the work of the junior mentors, the website applications and the Ambassador Award were discussed. At the suggestion of the members, the idea of a Cs\u00e1nyi sweatshirt and a plan for a volleyball tournament to accompany the Football Championship were also raised. Participants also added their comments to the discussion.<\/p>\n
