“As part of the ‘Practice Makes Perfect’ project, I spent a day in P\u00e9cs with R\u00e9ka Stang, who is the head of Supply Planning and Talent Management at Bonafarm’s HR Directorate. I gained valuable insight into HR meetings, which allowed me to experience their atmosphere and intricacies firsthand. The meeting topics were incredibly diverse, showing just how multifaceted this profession is. Later in the day, I had a chance to speak with HR colleague Szimonetta Vuk about the workings of the mentorship and talent development programs and the background work involved. This day was extremely beneficial for me, especially as I stand on the threshold of further studies. I would like to thank Bonafarm Zrt. for the opportunity to spend my day in such a supportive environment with kind and knowledgeable professionals.”

“This school year, I was again delighted to apply for the ‘Practice Makes Perfect XI’ project, a joint initiative of the Foundation and the Bonafarm Group to support career orientation and dedication to specific professions. My project focused on the pig sector, specifically animal health. As a student in an agricultural technical school, I previously completed a multi-week internship at another pig farm, so I was curious to see Bonafarm’s approach to pig care. I was especially interested in observing the duties related to animal health management firsthand. The strict biosecurity measures were familiar to me, as such protocols\u2014disinfection, clothing changes, and other hygiene practices\u2014are essential to protect the animals. Today, accompanied by the site manager and a veterinarian, we toured the farm and assessed the pigs’ health. Dalmand-V\u00f6r\u00f6segyh\u00e1zpuszta currently houses around 3,000 pigs. We examined and documented injuries, took blood samples for lab testing, and checked for any health risks. This experience provided me with further knowledge in pig breeding and rearing, which will contribute to my professional growth.
