On 5th December 2024 in J\u00e1szber\u00e9ny, the dining hall of the Szent Erzs\u00e9bet Hospital hosted the book launch of the 2024, 32nd issue of the J\u00e1szs\u00e1g Yearbook. This year, the J\u00e1szber\u00e9nyi Community House of the Foundation was also involved in five topics in the volume.<\/p>\n

Retired high school teacher Ter\u00e9zia Cs\u00f6rg\u0151, volunteer of the J\u00e1szber\u00e9ny Community House of the Foundation, presented the button collection of Istv\u00e1n Sinka this year. And nothing proves the actuality of the manuscript better than the fact that the “button collection of Rozi Gombos” has now been exhibited in the 150-year-old J\u00e1sz Museum.<\/p>\n

Anita Ill\u00e9s, a mental health specialist at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, interviewed \u00c1gnes Kov\u00e1cs, a psychologist at the Cs\u00e1nyi Foundation. This year’s new section of the J\u00e1szs\u00e1g yearbook was entitled “Psychologists in J\u00e1szs\u00e1g”, which of course included \u00c1gi Kov\u00e1cs, who talked about how there is indeed a way out of the disadvantaged situation.<\/p>\n

D\u00e1vid V\u00edg, the supporter of the J\u00e1szs\u00e1g group 3, prepared a translation of the history of Georgian and Ossetian cinema, with the aim of bringing this topic closer to the reading public.<\/p>\n

This year’s youngest author of the volume was M\u00e1t\u00e9 M\u00e1rk Kapt\u00e1s, a member of the J\u00e1szs\u00e1g 1 group, who had the opportunity to publish in the Yearbook for the first time. M\u00e1rk’s writing was placed in the “Outlook” column, as he presented the adventure of the jays in Sydney. In his article, M\u00e1rk presented the activities of the Lego robotics project group, introduced the readers to the First Lego League competition and the results achieved by the team in the 2023\/2024 school year. The J\u00e1sz-Stones team made it all the way to the international finals during the competition, and they also received the first prize for the best innovation in Sydney.<\/p>\n

Our author mentor Dorina prepared a local history research, presenting the mill industry of J\u00e1sz\u00e1roksz\u00e1ll\u00e1s from the Middle Ages to the 1950s. The settlement mill industry was the most important in terms of grain milling for the population, but in the XX. from the middle of the century, socialist industrialization put a barrier to this.
