Sunday:<\/strong> Monday:<\/strong> Tuesday:<\/strong> Wednesday:<\/strong> We heard many quotes from the essays we had submitted, and it was fascinating to see how everyone approached the topic from different perspectives. At the end, we also talked about how to use this modern technology safely and responsibly. My essay placed third, which made me very happy! Thursday:<\/strong> Friday:<\/strong>
We had been looking forward to today with great excitement, as we set off from J\u00e1szber\u00e9ny to Veszpr\u00e9m together with the group from Szentes to take part in the Logic and Thinking Skills Camp. During the journey, the Szentes and J\u00e1szs\u00e1g groups had time to catch up on everything that happened since they last met. After lunch, we settled into our accommodation, and once unpacked, we dove right into our first logic puzzles led by \u00c1d\u00e1m Balogh. After dinner, we explored the city, walking around part of the castle district. We had great conversations with the junior mentors. Despite the long journey, the day was pleasant and enjoyable. We look forward to the rest of the week\u2019s activities.

The morning was filled with playful learning: we exercised our minds with a logic session, working on tasks like Japanese Braille and forming triangles using matchsticks. This was followed by a drama class, where we laughed, moved around, and solved exciting challenges together. These sessions were not only fun but also helped the group bond more closely. After lunch, we visited the Tapolca Lake Cave, which far exceeded our expectations. The visit began at the visitor center, where we explored interactive exhibits about the cave\u2019s formation, karst phenomena, and the region\u2019s geology. It was fascinating to learn how water shaped this underground world over millions of years. The highlight, of course, was the boat ride on the cave\u2019s crystal-clear waters \u2013 everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The magical world of the cave left us with an unforgettable memory.

We were met with exciting challenges and lots of laughter right from the morning. During the logic session, we tackled unique tasks like letter-based sudoku, arranging letters so that each row and column contained each character only once. Then came a tricky challenge where we analyzed Finnish sentences to guess their Hungarian equivalents. Although strange at first, we ended up really enjoying it. The drama session was even more relaxed and fun. We started with the classic “Winking Assassin” game, which immediately energized the group \u2013 everyone was eyeing each other suspiciously, trying not to laugh or get \u201ckilled.\u201d Next, we played “The wind blows for those who\u2026”, where we had to switch seats based on specific traits. It was a very lively, movement-filled, and funny experience. We ended the day in K\u00e1ptalanf\u00fcred, enjoying a refreshing swim in Lake Balaton. On a hot afternoon, the cool water was just what we needed. We swam, splashed, played ball, and soaked up the sun. The view of the lake and the shared swim were the perfect end to the day\u2019s adventures.

This morning we attended a lecture by university professor Dr. Tibor Dulai on artificial intelligence, which included excerpts from essays we had written beforehand. We learned about how generative models work and the many ways they can be used. The lecture also covered the history of AI, revealing that it\u2019s been part of our lives much longer than we thought. We were introduced to several AI platforms that can save us time and energy in everyday life. At the end of the session, the top three essays from each group were announced. Overall, it was a very interesting and informative presentation.

After lunch, we headed to Tihany, where we explored the area and visited the Tihany Benedictine Abbey. We heard lots of interesting stories about the origins of monastic orders and daily monastic life. We also enjoyed the exhibition, which I really liked. After the abbey visit, we stopped for some well-deserved ice cream \u2013 a real treat in the heat.
In my opinion, Tihany is a wonderful town, rich in historical heritage. I really enjoyed the day and gained many new experiences and knowledge.

We had a very eventful day full of excursions. We woke up earlier than usual to head off to our first destination: Pannonhalma. There, we toured the abbey and participated in an interactive guided tour that provided everyone with useful insights. Afterwards, we visited a nearby treetop walkway with beautiful views over Pannonhalma. Following a delicious pizza lunch, we made our way to the Cuha Valley for a short hike. We even walked along train tracks and saw a train pass by \u2013 a highlight for many! We ended the excursion with a well-earned ice cream before returning to Veszpr\u00e9m for dinner. But the day didn\u2019t end there: we also tackled an escape room challenge, and everyone managed to get out within the time limit. After all these exciting activities, we wrapped up the day tired but full of memories.

The final day of camp began with our usual breakfast, followed by the last drama and logic sessions. The drama class \u2013 like every day this week \u2013 was filled with laughter and energy. We played several community-building games that helped us connect even more with each other. The logic session was a bit different: instead of worksheets, we worked in teams to build bridges from skewers \u2013 a powerful team-building experience. After a tasty lunch, we had some free time before starting a city exploration game. We split into six teams and explored the city while solving various challenges. After dinner came the camp\u2019s closing event \u2013 the farewell evening \u2013 where the game results were announced, and every participant received a prize. Afterwards, we could play board games and spend some final moments with our teammates.
In my opinion, this has been a rich and rewarding week full of new experiences and knowledge.
