On July 20, the lakeside town of Balatonszemes was filled with the excited chatter of children as the Kaposv\u00e1r 1 and Moh\u00e1cs 1 groups of the Cs\u00e1nyi Foundation arrived. Thanks to the support of the OTP F\u00e1y Foundation, the two teams were able to take part in a special themed summer camp focused on developing financial awareness through playful, experience-based activities.<\/p>\n

The first day of the camp was all about introductions and community building. The students settled into their accommodations at the OTP Hotel, then eased their initial excitement with fun team-building games. In the afternoon, they took part in a lifeguard training session, gaining useful knowledge about staying safe by the water – which was, of course, followed by a refreshing swim in Lake Balaton. In the evening, the children were divided into three teams, each led by a junior mentor. Throughout the week, the teams competed in a point-based challenge to test their skills.<\/p>\n

After Monday, the professional programs began in earnest: from Tuesday to Thursday, the mornings were dedicated to training sessions where children deepened their financial knowledge through exciting, hands-on tasks. The workshops were led by experienced trainers from the OTP F\u00e1y Foundation – Kolozsi Nanetta and Tisza Elizabet from the Ny\u00edregyh\u00e1za center, and Bendly Andr\u00e1s and Patyus Viktor from the Budapest center.<\/p>\n

Afternoons were spent swimming and relaxing by the lake, but Wednesday brought a special addition to the program: a city exploration detective game, during which the children discovered the landmarks and hidden corners of Balatonszemes. The day ended with a sunset swim, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone.<\/p>\n

Evenings were just as eventful. There were team competitions, Kahoot quizzes, plenty of laughter, and games. The final evening was particularly memorable: the teams performed humorous, creative presentations on financial topics, and the week concluded with a lively farewell party full of singing and dancing.<\/p>\n

The camp\u2019s goal was not only to provide knowledge – participants formed new friendships, gained lasting memories, and developed greater confidence and awareness in financial matters. On behalf of everyone, heartfelt thanks go to the OTP F\u00e1y Foundation for the opportunity and the week full of experiences. We spent fantastic days in Balatonszemes – being part of a meaningful, inspiring, and joyful camp.<\/p>\n
