<\/p>\nWe had another meaningful day on the last weekend of November. In the morning, our 10th-grade students continued the “exam” with the oral round of the Foundation’s language competition https:\/\/www.csanyialapitvany.hu\/szentesi-vizsgaidoszak\/, while the little ones created art with the help of our art teacher.<\/p>\n
The art education session on the morning of November 29th was held in the spirit of Advent preparations. The activity began as a way to build connections by summarizing the experiences of the past three months and listening to individual opinions. Experience shows that they feel good at the sessions; most of them like everything, and some named the art classes as the best. At the session, Christmas tree ornaments and decorative items were made from colorful wool using the needle felting technique. Christmas gingerbread cutters served as templates for the needle felting; the base color chosen for the shape was further decorated and the surface detailed with wool of different colors shaped to fit, according to individual ideas. Everyone made at least three different hanging ornaments. The creations turned out to be varied and finely crafted. They happily took them home, where they will serve as ornate decorations on the Christmas tree.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, we continued the creative activities to get into the holiday spirit. Parents, siblings, and grandparents arrived at the Community House in good numbers. There was an opportunity to make table centerpieces, door decorations, Advent wreaths, and gingerbread. Mothers were busy in the kitchen preparing the gingerbread dough, and then everyone cut out the shapes using cutters according to their own ideas. In the largest room, participants could choose from a multitude of decoration options. Decorations, one more beautiful than the next, were created, contributing to the decoration of homes for the upcoming holiday. Door and Advent decorations were also made for our Community House. While the scent of gingerbread wafted through the house, parents and children alike had good conversations, sharing the progress of holiday preparations and exchanging ideas and recipes. Thus the evening greeted us on this Saturday of meaningful, shared anticipation of the holiday.<\/p>\n
