On Friday afternoon, the parent-teacher meeting for the Szeged group 3 was held, where we evaluated the past semester together with the parents, discussing its results. The events for the upcoming period were presented \u2013 the Lifepath Festival, planned language exams, project-related programs, and summer camps. The relaxed atmosphere of the conversation, the collective thinking, and the exchange of opinions all serve the further cooperation between the families and the Foundation.<\/p>\n

We began Saturday with a presentation titled “Ready, Set, Drive!” by our university student peer, G\u00e1bor Berta, which was heard with great interest by young and old alike. We learned interesting and important information regarding safe traffic and driving. For us older ones, this is a truly important and topical subject right now, as we are exactly at the age to go and take our traffic theory (KRESZ) exam, followed by the practical driving test. We closed the end of the demonstration with a Kahoot, during which numerous personal experiences, stories, and questions arose and were answered.<\/p>\n

Closing the meaningful morning, carnival donuts prepared by skillful-handed mothers awaited us, served with delicious apricot jam. With full stomachs and a few donuts in our pockets and bags, we set off for the City Sports Hall, where we watched the musical play The Paul Street Boys, directed by D\u00e9s-Geszti-Grecs\u00f3, performed by the artists of the Pannon V\u00e1rsz\u00ednh\u00e1z. The story left a mark on everyone back in fifth grade when it was a required reading. During the play \u2013 which is about human nature, heroism, betrayal, frailty, and patriotism, expressed through the conflicts of young people, making the dramatic situations even tougher \u2013 several people became emotional. The young artists, through their humor, the lights, and modern-sounding music, conveyed an atmosphere through which one can still learn from this story and grow emotionally.<\/p>\n

I am very happy that I could finally do more than just read or see this iconic work in a film.<\/p>\n
