It is with great pride that we announce that within the walls of the Kaposv\u00e1r Campus of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), two professionals who have been committed volunteers of the Cs\u00e1nyi Foundation for many years recently received high-level recognition.The work of T\u00edmea Gelencs\u00e9r and Dr. P\u00e9ter Gombos is of decisive importance both in university education and in talent management within the foundation.<\/p>\n

T\u00edmea Gelencs\u00e9r, head of the Registrar’s Office at the MATE Kaposv\u00e1r Campus, was recently awarded the Trefort \u00c1goston Prize. This award is one of the highest state recognitions for outstanding activities performed in the interests of public and higher education.<\/p>\n

T\u00edmea Gelencs\u00e9r has been assisting the Foundation\u2019s work as a volunteer since 2010. Her expertise in matters of further education and academic affairs is invaluable. She has provided an immense amount of help over the years to students entering higher education and their parents.<\/p>\n

The other awardee from the Campus is Associate Professor Dr. P\u00e9ter Gombos, Deputy Director General of the Kaposv\u00e1r Campus, who received the “Teacher of the Year” award. This recognition carries special weight, as it reflects the positive feedback and appreciation of the students alongside the professional body.<\/p>\n

The diverse activities of Dr. P\u00e9ter Gombos\u2014as head of the Department of Subject Pedagogy at the Institute of Educational Science, Vice President of the Hungarian Reading Association, renowned reading researcher, and acclaimed creative writer\u2014have enriched the educational and pedagogical work of the Cs\u00e1nyi Foundation since 2007.<\/p>\n

As an expert, he supervises reading comprehension measurements and selection processes, and through his developmental pedagogical work, he provides outstanding support to mentees in the fields of communication, as well as Hungarian language and literature. Additionally, his work as an author ranges from the stage of the Csiky Gergely Theatre to youth novels, inspiring younger generations.<\/p>\n
