<\/p>\n
The weekend of March 14, 2026, was a busy one for Kaposv\u00e1r Group 3. It was the first Saturday of the month that we spent together, and we had a lot on our agenda. We started with a short discussion and commemoration in honor of our upcoming national holiday, during which we reviewed the major events and significance of the 1848\u20131849 Revolution and War of Independence.<\/p>\n
Next, the 6th-grade group underwent an assessment of their narrative skills using a set of tasks developed by the ELTE research team. During the assessment, the children\u2019s story-creation and story-comprehension skills, logical thinking, vocabulary richness, and recognition of emotional states were observed. The children approached the tasks with motivation and curiosity, striving to perform to the best of their ability. The tests were administered by Ang\u00e9la Vancsur\u00e1n\u00e9 S\u00e1rk\u00f6zi, a mentor from Kaposv\u00e1r, and Eszter S\u00e1rk\u00f6zi, a recipient of support from the Cs\u00e1nyi Foundation and a psychology student at K\u00e1roli G\u00e1sp\u00e1r University of the Reformed Church in Hungary.<\/p>\n
While the narrative tests were being completed, the rest of the group enthusiastically prepared for the Life Path Festival and worked in small groups on the \u201cResponsibility for Nature\u201d project. In the afternoon, we found time for a little gardening in the community center\u2019s courtyard, and taking advantage of the beautiful spring weather, we got in some exercise to get ready for next week\u2019s Cs\u00e1nyi soccer tournament in Kaposv\u00e1r.<\/p>\n
