We started our Saturday morning together with a few group mates in the community house of Szentes. We were welcomed with great affection, and some old good friends met again. However, this was not the focus of the morning, as the purpose of the Sz3 group’s visit was to provide a bit of support and help to the Cs\u00e1nyi students from Szentes who are currently facing their portfolio defense. The portfolio defense is a milestone in the life of every Cs\u00e1nyi student, and helpful hands are welcome everywhere at such times. Together with two of my group mates, we talked about what they might experience on this day, what they should prepare for, and we also gave them some useful advice; finally, by skimming through, we presented roughly how they should imagine the portfolio defense individually. This was represented by our own experiences and presentations. Of course, at the end, we also made time for any questions that arose. After this, a joint lunch and chatting followed, but this was soon followed by our departure to the Szeged house. Our project day in Szeged was held by Ibolya Matos, where we analyzed in detail how we can notice signs of manipulation and how we can sometimes deceive ourselves with false beliefs. At the beginning of the session, we also conducted an experiment for this, which, as always, took place in a good atmosphere thanks to the group. It also turned out that many people enjoy performing nerve-wracking, tedious tasks, and they find them engaging.<\/p>\n
