J\u00e1szber\u00e9ny:<\/b> “After the written rounds of the English language competition, we had to demonstrate our knowledge orally at the beginning of March. In the Community House of J\u00e1szber\u00e9ny, groups take their exams in several rooms over the course of several days during this time. From the larger groups, young people who speak excellently also sit in the room and assist the developers during the exam. Waiting for the oral rounds in the hallway, there are those who are still preparing, and those who are just nervous until it is their turn. At the exam, we draw a topic or receive a theme, about which the junior mentors also ask questions. Nagybajom:<\/b> “Last weekend, the high school beneficiaries of the Foundation’s Community House in Nagybajom participated in the oral exam of the spring round of the language competition. Students from Nagybajom Group 3 took exams at B1 level, while those from Nagybajom Group 2 took exams at B2 and C1 levels in English and German. Following the five written rounds and the mid-year oral results, the combined points earned in the spring oral exam will determine the ranking that gives our beneficiaries the chance to participate in foreign language camp training in England, Germany, and Croatia. Alongside our developing teachers, Anett Kiss (English) and Andrea D\u00e9nesn\u00e9 Szak (German), the assisting members of the examination committee were G\u00e1bor Berta (Szeged), and our “Cs\u00e1nyi” university students from Nagybajom, M\u00e1rton Gelencs\u00e9r and Benedek Kov\u00e1cs. The exam mostly took place in person, but there were also examples of online oral responses. The young people received feedback on their performance, which helps in preparing for language exams and graduation exams.
