The J\u00e1sz-Stones team received a special invitation from the director of the J\u00e1sz Museum, Andr\u00e1s Zolt\u00e1n Guly\u00e1s, to the opening of the exhibition titled “150 Years \u2013 150 Objects: A Selection from the Collection of the 150-Year-Old J\u00e1sz Museum.”<\/p>\n

On the occasion of the anniversary, a large-scale exhibition was organized from the Museum’s collection. For us, this event was truly memorable because our own innovation project, Circulus, was also featured in the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The development consists of two interconnected products. The first is an interactive 3D horn model that activates upon touch: visitors can sense the shape of the horn and the magnified details of the carved patterns through touch, while the system plays information regarding the Lehel\u2019s Horn (J\u00e1szk\u00fcrt) and the affected symbols, as well as atmosphere-creating sounds. The second element is the “Voice of the J\u00e1szk\u00fcrt,” where the visitor can touch the 3D model and then, by blowing into it, sound the original voice of the horn with digital assistance. Both developments were made using Raspberry Pi Zero 2 WH-based control; in one case, a capacitive touch sensor, and in the other, a digital microphone receives the signals integrated into the 3D-printed structure. The project was realized in cooperation with the J\u00e1sz Museum.<\/p>\n

It filled us with great pride to present our work at such a prestigious event and to have others learn about our idea. It was a special pleasure that we were also given the opportunity to personally present our innovation at the opening of the exhibition. We could demonstrate the operation and purpose of Circulus, as well as the problem it offers a solution for. The audience’s attention and the interested questions meant a lot to us. During the exhibition, we received a lot of positive feedback: many people congratulated us and tried out our project with great joy. It was a particularly good feeling to see that people were open to and interested in our idea.
