All of us were quite tired, so we had the chance to have a rest after lunch. After dinner, we went together to the “Brandenburger Tor” to watch the next match in the European Football Championship. We had a tiring day, but we are looking forward to start learning tomorrow.

Day two

Education started today. We were looking forward to the new teachers, how we would learn and what. We were seperated into two groups and we had a great time with our groups. After lunch, we visited Berlin again: we went to the Dome of Berlin, climbed hundreds of steps to get amazed by the wonderful view of the city. Before dinner, we got some free time to explore Alexander Square on our own.

Day three

Today we got several new experiences about this city. After our lessons, we visited other sights of Berlin: we went to the Brandenburg Gate, and also had a look at Reichstag. After that we went to the Berlin Zoo: not only is it famous for its huge animal collection with more than 14000 animals together but it is one of Europe’s oldest zoo. We are looking forward to tomorrow. Kinga Király Jászberény 1.

Day four

Today, we spent our morning with learning. Our teacher brought nice topics: muslim issues in Germany and volunteering. In the afternoon, the sun was shining so we could have our programs organised for today. We visited the DDR Museum where we could see how the Eastern Germans lived their lives. The exhibition was interactive so we were refreshed enough to got on a ship-tour on the river Spree. It was very interesting to see the other sides of the buildings. Then we were walking in the city centre and after that we ate hamburgers that made us very calm and happy. Gábor Szabó Pécs 1.

Day five

Thursday morning the weather was a bit gloomy, but a delicious breakfast made us forget about it. In the first class we watched a documentary film about a German student union, then, after the break, our teacher Ingo brought some interesting topics to debate, namely the Internet Generation and ebooks. And also some caricatures! After lunch, we once again took U2 to Alexanderplatz and from there a bus to see the Museum of German History. The museum had a huge exhibition of the more than 1200 years of German history with lots of artifacts and paintings. We then finished our journey at the TV Tower, where after strict security checks we could see the whole city. Finally, dinner at the school put an end to this beautiful day. Bendegúz Kálmán Izsák Pécs 2.

Day six

On the last day of school we got our certificates about the course. After lunch, we went on an other “sightseeing tour” on our feet. We queued for a long time, but finally we got the documents, so we can go and visit the German “Reichstag” tomorrow. At the evening, we visited “Checkpoint Charlie” Museum and got to know the historical background of it. Having reached the school’s yard, we were greeted by a grill party that amazed us. Andrea Kalla Jászberény 2.

Day seven

As our German classes over, we could finally sleep more to make up for the previous days. After a late breakfast we spent the morning shopping at Alexanderplatz. We returned for lunch with lots of new clothes and presents. As soon as we finished, we left again to visit the Reichstag building, since we didn’t want to lose our hard-earned booking. After all, I think the sight from inside the famous glass dome was totally worth all the waiting, hurry and travelling we had to endure. Another long underground ride took us to the beauty of the Olympic Stadium. Finally we returned to the school once again to have dinner for the last time. I liked this sunny Saturday very much and I believe everyone has gained a lot to take home tomorrow. Balázs Bencze Nagybajom 1.

The last day of our camp had arrived.
