On 3 September, on Sunday, we had the chance with a few of my fellow mates from the Foundation to watch the Hungary-Portugal world cup qualifier match live in Groupama Arena. It was an incredible experience to support the national team with more than 20000 people.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere already peaked at the beginning of the night, when the whole stadium performed a wonderful choreography together during our national anthem. I dare saying it was an unforgettable experience for all who took part.<\/p>\n

Although the odds obviously were in Portugal’s favour – who came out with players such as Joao Moutinho, Pepe, Andre Silva, Danilo Pereira, or Cristiano Ronaldo – they started the match a little slow and sleepy, so Hungary tried to go for it and take their chances. It was going quite well until the end of the first half-an-hour, when an unfortunate red card basically decided the fate of the three points. Although both teams had good chances, Portugal won the battle 1-0.<\/p>\n

The quality of the match was not as expected, but it was totally worth it for the atmosphere that we, the fans made as one, together. It was a very good experience for us, we would like to thank the Cs\u00e1nyi Foundation for making this opportunity possible.<\/p>\n
