We\u2019re revising in every lesson and in our free time. On the Foundation\u2019s English lessons we practise for our C1 level language exams.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Today (31st March) our mentor was waiting for us with a pleasant surprise, when we arrived for our English lesson. We went to a museum to see an exhibition called The ideal woman and the advertisement in the first part of the 20th century. We saw the era\u2019s most typical advertisements, clothes, accessories and jewellery. It felt good to get lost in the world of corsets, fans, folding screens and to read the advertisements about why smart women\u2019s heads don\u2019t hurt( because of the aspirin, of course).<\/p>\n<p>This was our English lesson, so we had to write about the exhibition on the subject in an essay in English, like on a language exam.<\/p>\n<p>We liked that we had a lesson in a different place with different circumstances.
