On 15th November nature and photograph lover members of group 2 of Szeged travelled to Macsk\u00e1s field near Szatymaz in Kiskuns\u00e1gi National Park to watch the common cranes.<\/p>\n
The goal of our trip was to watch and learn about the migrating and eating common cranes near Szeged when they return to their night sleeping places. We met nature lovers, expert photographers and the employees of the national park in front of Postakocsi cs\u00e1rda in Szatymaz. After a short plan discussion we headed to Macsk\u00e1s field where we were waiting for the arrival of the common cranes in small groups. After a short time, the autumn silence above the lakes was broken by the noise of the common cranes. The first, smaller group, was followed by many other cranes and this process lasted for until sunset. When the last few birds arrived to lake, our little group went back to the car and drove to the cs\u00e1rda to have our late afternoon dinner. During the lunch, Dr Boross Emil, manager of the national park gave us a brief lecture about the present state of experiments on common cranes.<\/p>\n
