{"id":4725,"date":"2013-02-07T09:59:10","date_gmt":"2013-02-07T09:59:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/besocialapps.com\/cafe\/csanyi_alapitvany\/do_nb_sl\/"},"modified":"2017-10-04T08:23:28","modified_gmt":"2017-10-04T08:23:28","slug":"do_nb_sl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.csanyialapitvany.hu\/en\/do_nb_sl\/","title":{"rendered":"Dear Cs\u00e1nyi Foundation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity I had to visit the Community House of the Cs\u00e1nyi Foundation this past Saturday (2nd February) in Nagybajom.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by both the mentors and students.\u00a0 During my presentation the students were an attentive and interested audience, and after overcoming initial shyness from the challenge of using English, they participated eagerly in discussion.\u00a0 This was an excellent opportunity for me to share information about my homeland and culture, and I think both the students and I learned a lot about our similarities and differences. I especially appreciated that the students were curious about American folk music and that we were able to sing\u00a0 \u201cSwing Low, Sweet Chariot\u201d together.
