The last Friday night in September was again dedicated to curiosity for the sciences: Researchers\u2019 Night \u2013 supported by the EU \u2013 is a popular pan-European event giving the opportunity to meet science and have a glimpse behind the scenes through \u201cfun\u201d activities. It also aims at showing the public and mainly young people the advantages of pursuing a research career. P\u00e9cs joined to the program on fifth occasion, and we, from the Cs\u00e1nyi Foundation took part on the programmes second time. One of the main themes were the biological process of aging and the mystery of longevity. But we were more interested in microscopes, robots, martial arts, healthy eating and the beauties of the botanical garden.
\nWe saw an extensive range of chemical and physical experiments presenting the complexity of the material in everyday life. We got a taste of research methods of modern genetics and the hereditary diseases. We examined fungi colonize of different foods (fruit, bread, sausage) under a microscope.
