The project of the January for Group 2 of Szeged was “Project milk and dairy products”, around which were our classes centered thematically. <\/span>During the English classes, we learned about the history of milk and other dairy products, and in Maths class we designed a cow farm.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

During the Gastro Club, we talked about milk processing and we also learned how to prepare easy dishes made of mostly milk. Within the Photography Club, besides taking pictures of dairy products we also shot images of the snowy, frosty landscape. <\/span>Within the frames of the project, we visited Sole-Mizo Factory on 31st January, where we were introduced to the processing of milk as well as the creation of cottage cheese and sour cream. <\/span>We would like to say thank you to the employees of the Bonafarm Group for their help in showing us around in the factory. <\/span>In Saturday’s\u00a0 Gastro Club session we stuck to Mizo’s products. Our groupmate, Luca Berta, 2nd year student of the Institute of Food Technologies presented us a short lecture about the processing of milk, which was followed by playful tidbitting sample products with the help of Bence, Anna and Gerg\u0151. During this tidbitting, we had the chance to taste and examine the smell and structure of cheese, yogurt and cottage cheese. <\/span>We collected our examinations and graded the different sample tidbits. <\/span>In the afternoon we split into two smaller groups; one group continued the Gastro Club and headed towards the kitchen. There they learned how to make rice pudding with the help of our chef-to-be senior groupmate, Peter Bendeguz Varga. After all the calculations and measurements, we prepared our very first rice pudding together, so that now we will be able to make it at home, too.\u00a0 At the end of the cooking session, Peti showed us how to layer rice pudding and jam to create stunning-looking desserts. <\/span>The other part of the group deepened their knowledge in the field of Mathematics,\u00a0 in calculating area and perimeter, to be more precise. This task didn’t seem to be easy. However, with the help of our senior groupmates, Attila Koza and Gerg\u0151 Horv\u00e1th, university students of the Faculty of Engineering, we designed the proportional plans of a cow farm, using deltoids, trapeziums and triangles. First, we made a proportional draft on millimeter paper, which we then digitalized using a three-dimensional designer software. <\/span>In the next class we are going to design and create the draft of the animals’ shelter.
