\u201cOn Thursday, as part of the Environmental Awareness project, my group and I visited the Pusztamizsei Nature Reserve as part of the Environmental Awareness project, where Attila Bors\u00e1nyi, president of the Pusztamizse Fishermen’s Association, a nature conservation guard and nature photographer, guided us through the 9-hectare Zagyva backwaters. We learned a lot about Zagyva and its wildlife. We have seen an interesting example of an environmentally conscious life. Dead, withered trees are not cut down, but are left as habitat for the many species that live in them. It was a great experience to have approx. View of a protected gray heron colony of 30 nests. This day was special because we also did a water test on site, which we have only done in the community house so far. Our water testing research project, supported by Katalin Karik\u00f3, received new tools, which we thank you so much, so now we were able to try out the Pro JBL Aquatest, which we used to do some quick measurements. The iron and ammonia and nitrite contents and pH of the Zagyva backwater were also measured. After visiting the nature reserve, we also visited the farm of Attila Bors\u00e1nyi, where we could see a lot of old tools, we could admire some nature photos taken by Attila, and we could even go into an underwater ambush. Here we heard stories about a flying gem about a protected kingfisher, and we also learned how persistent it takes a lot of work to make a good nature photo.
