<\/p>\nOn 16 September 2023, Groups 1 and 3 in Nagybajom held their annual Family Day. The programme was based on the idea of the Noszlopy memorial tour in 2020 and the Tour of the Lake District in 2021. In mid-September, on a beautiful autumn day, the \u00d6t\u00f6sh\u00e1rs Reservoir once again provided a wonderful venue for the event. We marked out the route of the game along the dirt tracks and wildlife trails around the lake. The hike – which itself would have been a 4km, 40-minute walk – was interspersed with play stations. Our families competed against each other in the challenge. At the stations, students and older youngsters from the house welcomed the “contestants”. The playful quiz was independently structured and conducted by the young people under the guidance of Zal\u00e1n Gy\u0151z\u0151.<\/p>\n

While our competing families wandered in the forest, lunch was prepared. T\u00fcnde Horv\u00e1thn\u00e9 Varga welcomed the early arrivals with the opportunity to paint pebbles, and those who wanted to could also make paracord bracelets. We were delighted that our Founder, Dr. S\u00e1ndor Cs\u00e1nyi and the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Erika Cs\u00e1nyi, also visited our event.<\/p>\n
