“We had an amazing experience. We had already qualified for the European Championship, but we still had to fight for the top spot in the group. Once again, the fans and the atmosphere were great, as always. The boys made the game exciting in the first half, but the second half showed who wanted the win more and Szoboszlai turned the game around in 2 minutes. I’ve had the pleasure of being out there for many games courtesy of the Foundation, but I’ve never had a turnaround that fast. We added one more goal to our two in extra time to not only finish the group unbeaten, but also 2023. What’s more, ours is currently the longest unbeaten streak in the game. We thank the Foundation for this opportunity and for allowing us to be part of this historic victory.
