We started this Saturday morning at the community center, where after breakfast, we discussed the most current issue: further education. For most of us, the prospects are encouraging, and the schools we have chosen – though not yet finalized – rank high among our supporters. After the mentoring session, taking advantage of the beautiful spring day, we headed outdoors: besides learning about purposeful life paths, we also delved into art with the students of the 1st group from Szentes on our project day. We were guests at Csaba Szab\u00f3’s place, where we not only discussed topics related to organic gardening and community-building perspectives on life, but also got a glimpse into the corners of his studio where his visual artworks are created. – S\u00e1ndor Kov\u00e1cs, mentor, Szentes 1st group<\/p>\n

“Today at Csaba Szabo’s organic garden, we gained a lot of new insights. For example, we learned how important it is for the human body and how much it influences its health to consume cleanly grown vegetables and fruits. Because products grown with artificial chemicals can have very strong harmful effects. Something might taste good, but we need to consider which is more important: our health or quick choices. During the conversation, we also got to taste a tea made from twenty-year-old tea leaves.” – Kitti Hajd\u00fa<\/p>\n

“We sat in a circle in nature and talked about the importance of organic farming, while also trying to find answers to global questions. After the tea ceremony, Csaba brought various interesting salads from his garden – like mizuna – which we enjoyed with homemade cheeses. We also got insight into our host’s personal living space, where we could see what it’s like to live in a yurt, in harmony with nature. After finishing on the farm, we also saw Csaba’s ‘other side’, which is none other than art. His artworks are also based on nature, as he prefers to work with materials found in nature.” – \u00c1d\u00e1m P\u00e1l Moln\u00e1r, \u00c1kos S\u00e1ndor Moln\u00e1r<\/p>\n

“The artworks he made from the remains of frogs and small vertebrates offered a unique spectacle.” – Vanda Horv\u00e1th<\/p>\n

“We were amazed to hear that he also makes artworks from found frog remains, but we also saw something made from – of course, already sterilized – animal excrement:<\/p>\n
