”On Saturday, April 13th, members of P\u00e9cs Group 3 arrived excitedly at the Community House. At the Life Path Festival, this school year’s innovation project, the Maker’s Red Box Global Warning Climate Expedition Around the World, was presented by promising talents. The goal of the year-long innovation project is to develop cross-disciplinary knowledge through creative pedagogy. It encompasses several fields of science, thus also enabling the application of project-based pedagogy. This often involves creating an object, tool, or device. The method also responds to the fact that every child participates in this process with different abilities, as development takes place considering the children\u2019s individual talents and interests. Parents and members of other groups in the Community House attentively listened to the presentations, and the children deservedly received a lot of praise.” – Andrea B\u00e1lint-Ors\u00f3s, mentor, P\u00e9cs Group 3<\/p>\n

“The presentation brought the project closer and made it more understandable, something I had only heard about before. Within the topic of climate change, the children dealt with numerous other areas, and I liked these complex problem-solving and skill-developing challenges. “Today we had the opportunity to get a glimpse into the several-week-long project work of Group P3. They presented what they had been working on, where they had traveled virtually. During their tasks, they learned to design and print with a 3D printer, how microbits work, and created complex measuring devices with their help. They learned to think together and work as a team. The project was built around the theme of environmental protection, specifically helping to reduce global warming with their ideas.
