This year, the applicant students had the opportunity to visit B\u00e9k\u00e1spuszta as a reward for the competition announced jointly with Bonafarm. In 2024, the focus of the competition was on the operation and future of agriculture. Every participant received a reward, so a total of 58 students could take part in the excursion.<\/p>\n

The children visited the agricultural museum in B\u00e9k\u00e1spuszta, where museum curator Gy\u00f6rgy Zolt\u00e1n Sebesty\u00e9n conducted a guided tour, presenting the history and tools of agricultural production in B\u00f3ly and its surroundings. Following this, Tam\u00e1s Tetz, the plant cultivation shift leader, gave a lecture on the drones used in plant cultivation, and together with security expert L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Vajta, they demonstrated the practical use of the Dji Agras T30 sprayer and the Dji Mavic 3 Multispectral drones.<\/p>\n

“Bonafarm Group announced a competition, as part of which we traveled to B\u00e9k\u00e1spuszta, where we could see old agricultural tools and machines in an agricultural museum. In front of the museum, they demonstrated drones. Among the drones, the smallest weighs 1 kg, and its task is reconnaissance and mapping, sending images to the larger drone, which sprays where needed, thus not wasting spray. The large drone weighs 7 kg and is slower than the small one: while the large drone can go up to 25 km\/h, the small one can reach 125 km\/h in 2 seconds. Those who still had questions could ask them and got answers, and then we headed back to the minibuses where we received a small gift.” – Bence S\u00e1rk\u00f6zi, Moh\u00e1cs Group 1<\/p>\n

“Today we had the opportunity to go on a trip related to an agricultural competition thanks to Bonafarm. Apart from us, groups from community centers in Moh\u00e1cs, Szentes, and Nagybajom also came. After everyone arrived, we were divided into two groups. One group attended a drone presentation, while the other had a roughly one and a half-hour presentation at the agricultural museum about the machines used from sowing preparation to feed harvesting in the past, and then we switched, so everyone could hear both topics. Personally, I found both presentations very interesting and useful, giving us insight into the mysteries of agriculture. At the end of the program, we went for lunch together at a restaurant in Belv\u00e1rdgyula, which was a great end to the day! “Today was very eventful. We visited B\u00e9k\u00e1spuszta, where in the first part of the day we learned about the drones used in agriculture. We learned about the ranges of some drones and how they can spray large areas. The second program was extremely interesting, in the agricultural museum, we learned a lot about the past economy from the presenter, for example, what tools were used from the 18th century to the 1950s and how technology evolved. “Today we traveled to B\u00f3ly-B\u00e9k\u00e1spuszta. To arrive on time, we had to leave early in the morning. Since we participated in two locations, as soon as we arrived, we were divided into two groups. At the first location, there was a drone presentation. They talked about smaller drones used for play and larger, industrial spraying drones. Afterward, we not only heard about them but also saw them fly. We could also watch the footage from the camera drones, so we learned how these little robots see. Then we went to the other location, which was an agricultural museum. We could follow the development of agriculture, where they individually presented the different field machines.
