Language exams and language competition
The last week of February was all about English and excitement. On the one hand, we held the oral round of the foundation’s Language Competition, in which our university students Hanna Szép and Gábor Berta helped us. Of course, this was not the cause of the excitement for the already routine tenth graders, but the anticipation associated with their language exams. At the beginning of February, ten of our grantees traveled to the Hódmezővásárhely language exam center to have their language skills recognized. The applicants were informed about the results in the past few days. In May 2025, three of our grantees successfully completed the complex exam at B2 level, and one successfully completed the written exam and one successfully completed the oral exam, the latter this time complicating his result with the written exam. Those applying for the language exam for the first time measured their knowledge at B1 level. Six successfully completed the complex language exam, two successfully completed the oral exam, and one successfully completed the written exam with a satisfactory result.
