Art Belongs to Everyone
“This summer, we had a truly special experience: we had the opportunity to participate in the VAN Festival, organized by the Hungarian Special Arts Workshop Association, held in Szentes. The Hungarian Special Arts Workshop Association is an organization that supports and organizes artistic activities for people living with disabilities. Their goal is to provide opportunities for self-expression, social engagement, and shared experiences through theater, music, dance, and visual arts.
The incredible diversity of performances reflected the spirit of the festival: some enchanted the audience with their dancing, others sang, recited poetry, or performed theatrical pieces. Behind each production were countless hours of work, passion, and genuine smiles that radiated all the way to the audience.
The performances not only entertained but also powerfully reinforced the Association’s motto: “Art belongs to everyone.” And on this stage, everyone truly found their place. A truly uplifting, inclusive, and inspiring atmosphere developed in the theater hall — one that we were grateful to be part of.”
