Team building in the advent period

“As the holidays were approaching, before the last day of teaching, the mentor of the Jászság Group 4 invited us to a joint team-building program and a cinema visit, where we watched Legénybúcsú, an exciting yet humorous Hungarian film directed by Vajk Szente. Before the screening, we had a group discussion in which we reflected on the past period and talked about the upcoming tasks of the school year.

In a particularly relaxed and informal atmosphere, we also went out for pizza together as a group, where we had great conversations and truly enjoyed ourselves. Earlier, the group had decided to exchange Christmas gifts—but not in the usual way. Instead, we held a “Chinese gift exchange,” which meant that everyone brought a present and placed it in the center of the festive table. After that, in a random order, we could either choose a gift from the pile or ‘steal’ one that had already been picked. By the end of the gift exchange, everyone was happily unwrapping the surprise they had obtained.

It was wonderful to take some time for one another, to listen to a few festive thoughts, and to say goodbye to each other before the holiday break.”
