Orchestra Rehearsals and André Rieu Concert

Both orchestras of the Csányi Foundation held rehearsals in Budapest. The Chamber Orchestra members could rehearse in a special, professional venue, the Budapest Music Center, while the members of the Csányi Band could take over their usual, homely venue, the S10. Thanks to the help of the university students from Budapest, the rehearsals took place without trouble or disruption; we thank them from here as well. And some musicians were granted a special opportunity, which is detailed in the report below: As members of the Foundation’s orchestras, we received a special opportunity from Erika Csányi and Dr. Sándor Csányi for our performance at the Life Path Festival to attend the André Rieu concert in Budapest on November 29th at the MVM Dome. The whole experience is very difficult to put into words, as even the word “wonderful” does not quite describe what a huge impact the evening had on us. From the moment we entered, we felt that a truly special experience awaited us. André Rieu’s charismatic presence and the effortless elegance of the Johann Strauss Orchestra completely captivated us. The musicians’ talent shone through in every melody; it simply amazed us. Particularly memorable were the beautiful voices of the singers and the frenetic violin solos, which completely enchanted us. The playfulness and professionalism of the orchestra brought smiles to our faces and kept our enthusiasm up throughout. It was a huge experience for all of us to be able to attend such a high-caliber concert. We especially saw on the children how defining this evening was for them. The music, the lights, and the huge audience together provided an experience that we will surely talk about for a long time. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been there on this unforgettable evening.
