The bell has rung! -Parents’ meeting in Szentes

On the first Thursday of September, the large hall of the Community House was packed with old and new students: we opened the new school year, in which our freshmen selected in the spring are also studying with us. After the introduction of the development team, we took stock of the tasks awaiting us.

We are looking forward to a very busy year. The seniors have another ICDL module exam and language exam. All this will almost be just a warm-up for the spring Portfolio Defense! The young people are approaching these challenges with sufficient determination and enthusiasm and have given momentum to their commitments by signing their study contracts. In addition to our above objectives, during the school year – also with the seniors – we will also prepare the Maker’s Red Box “City of the Future” project. After the schedule and the important joint programs were presented, the questions that arose were answered, and then the families talked to each other for a long time, happy to see each other again. -Sándor Kovács, mentor of Szentes 1st group

We continued the meeting separately with “Little ones and their parents”, we had a lot to discuss. So the schedule, transportation, school visits, our upcoming programs, applications, early-year assessments, family day were discussed. Individual catch-up in case of lag, asking for psychological help if needed, and many other questions were answered by the parents this afternoon. The classes will start on Saturday, which the current 5th graders are already looking forward to with great excitement. -Márta Őzéné Törőcsik, mentor of Szentes 2nd group
