Introducing the University of Public Service
The parent-teacher meeting held at the Community House in Pécs was complemented by a special program, where the parents and students of group P2 listened to a presentation by officer candidate Andrea Balla. Andrea is pursuing her studies in the Immigration and Policing Department at the University of Public Service (NKE). She arrived at the event with her head of department and one of her classmates to present the university as a potential path for further education to interested students.
The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the university, the training structure, the specific characteristics of the immigration department, and the career path available upon graduation. The presentation maintained a professional yet approachable tone throughout, successfully capturing the attention of both parents and students.
An animated discussion followed the presentation: numerous questions were raised regarding university admissions, daily student life, academic requirements, and future job opportunities. It was a particular pleasure to see that not only the parents but also the children asked the presenters questions with confidence and curiosity.
We were proud of Andi, who represented her university with confidence, preparedness, and authenticity, setting an example for the younger ones through her perseverance, dedication, and mindfulness. Her presentation was inspiring and opened a new, attractive perspective on further education for many.
