Darts Handover at S10
On January 19, we had special guests at S10: Pál “Penge” Székely, twenty-time Hungarian darts champion, Dr. Csaba Bogdán, managing director of Darts Matek Kft., and János Szász, strategic advisor of Darts Matek Kft., visited us. On behalf of Darts Matek Kft., they presented the Foundation with four Darts sets during a handover ceremony held in a warm, family atmosphere, two of which found a home at S10. The creator, “Penge,” also presented the program supporting school mathematics education and shared some useful advice regarding usage and maintenance. While our university-supported students might no longer find joy in the primary school math portion of the game, it will certainly provide a new opportunity for active relaxation between exams.
We are sincerely grateful for the donation and for the opportunity to use the benefits of the Darts Matek methodology in our community houses in Szeged and Pécs as well, where the application of the method will begin in the near future, following the installation of the boards.
