Student Project Competition
“Today we took part in the National High School Student Project Competition with our team, Jász-Stones. Unfortunately, three of our younger teammates were not eligible to participate this time, so we represented the team: Zoltán Baráth, Márk Kaptás, Zsolt Kovács, and I, Maja Sas.
The competition was held in downtown Budapest, at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of ELTE. We arrived a few hours before our project presentation, which gave us time to practice and check out the work of other teams as well. As part of the program, we had the chance to try various dice games, which we really enjoyed. It was surprising to see how many creative and entertaining games can be played with just dice!
One of the most exciting moments of the day was the award ceremony. To our great delight, we won 3rd place with our board game Blue Horizon! We were very happy with this result, as we put a lot of effort into this project.
To end the day, we took the chairlift up to János Hill, walked to the Elizabeth Lookout, did a bit of hiking, laughed a lot, and had great conversations. We closed a truly meaningful and fun-filled day.
Once again, thank you to our mentors, volunteers, and the Csányi Foundation for their support in helping us achieve such a great result!”
