I received my degree

On July 4, 2025, I reached a long-awaited and defining milestone: I received my degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Pécs. I have completed three challenging years, during which I received tremendous support from the people around me.

I would like to express my gratitude to Erika Csányi and Sándor Csányi for the Foundation and for the supportive environment they provided me. Without the many developmental sessions, the words of encouragement, the financial support, and the friends I made here, I might not have come this far. I would also like to thank Uncle Miklós for allowing me to be part of this, for believing in me, and for standing by me all these years. To Uncle Gergő, my mentor, and to my parents, for always offering a helping hand whenever I turned to them with a problem, and for making it possible for me to focus only on my studies—I can never be grateful enough for that.

During my years at the Foundation, I received an invaluable gift from Adriána Kalafszky and Andi Kalla, who helped me nurture my love for singing. Both they and the members of their ensembles have become my friends, supporters, and companions, sharing with me an immense amount of knowledge and experience that will accompany me for the rest of my life. The ensembles provide me with one of the strongest pillars of support whenever I am filled with self-doubt, and I will never forget that.

It is difficult to answer when someone asks me: “What has the Foundation given you?”—because I grew up here. This is not a quick crash course of a few weeks, nor a school, nor any other easily definable thing, yet it has played a decisive role in shaping both my life and my character. This community will always be dear to me, and I will carry it in my heart forever. One chapter has closed, and a new one begins.
