Hacktivity IT Security Festival

Hacktivity IT Security Festival

Today we attended the Hacktivity IT Security Festival in Budapest, whose main focus was protecting children online. Among the programs, we found the hackable house model particularly interesting, as it demonstrated how vulnerable homes equipped with smart devices can be.

During the day, we met many new people, mostly university students and young adults working on related topics. It was great to collaborate and brainstorm with them. In a workshop setting, we worked in teams to develop a service aimed at enhancing children’s online safety. Our idea was a software that filters content based on age restrictions, and we also suggested that influencers indicate which age group their videos are intended for.

Overall, it was a very useful and motivating experience, from which we learned a lot and had a great time! We thank Atlas Rise Ltd. for the invitation.
