A Busy Weekend at the Pécs Community House

A Busy Weekend at the Pécs Community House

The Pécs Community House was buzzing with activity on October 10–11, offering programs that engaged participants of all ages. Over the two days, learning, play, and community-building went hand in hand, providing children and young people with a wealth of new experiences and knowledge.

On Friday, members of Pécs Groups 1 and 3 delved into the world of IT and programming, exploring the basics of digital thinking through creative tasks. At the same time, drama workshops focused on teamwork, self-expression, and collaborative play-laughter and fun were guaranteed!

Saturday highlighted the development of logical and critical thinking. Through engaging activities, the children practiced how to ask questions, form opinions, and argue effectively. In line with the annual plan, the critical thinking project this time centered on environmental awareness: the groups examined their own attitudes and discussed together what actions they could take for a sustainable future.

Even the youngest participants were included in the fun-Pécs Group 2 took part in cheerful, team-building drama workshops on both days, learning in a playful way what it means to cooperate, pay attention to each other, and create together.

Throughout the weekend, every corner of the Community House was filled with life, laughter, and new experiences. Thanks to the variety of programs, it was clear that learning and entertainment can go hand in hand.
