Open Day at SMP

On Friday, students from Szeged and Kaposvár had the opportunity to participate in the open day organized by SMP Solutions Zrt., where we could get closer to what the world of work and corporate operations are really like.

What made the program truly interesting was that the presentations were given by former “Csányi students.” We would like to take this opportunity to thank Gábor Szabó, Pisti Rostás, Pisti Bogdán, and Peti Horváth for the roundtable discussions, during which they sincerely shared their experiences. Hearing their own stories from them—for example, where they started from, what obstacles they had to overcome, and where they have reached—was a particularly motivating experience. It was easy to connect with them, as the life paths of many of us pass through similar points, so we could see just how far one can go.

During the presentations, we not only heard personal stories but also received very useful, practical advice. Topics included the challenges of university years, the difficulties of starting a career, integrating into the workplace, and how to consciously build our own future. Although SMP Solutions Zrt. operates mainly in the fields of informatics and IT security, during the day, students with any range of interests could find valuable takeaways for themselves, even those orienting towards economics or other fields.
