Developing our self-awareness, strengthening our community

At the “Csányi,” the Saturday project day for the Szeged Group 3 began with the usual cheerful chatting. While waiting for everyone to arrive, we spent the warm-up time enjoying the company of our mentors. The main goal of this weekend’s sessions was to develop our self-awareness and to gain a deeper understanding of each other’s attributes, following the principles of positive psychology.

The schedule of the lesson progressed from warm-up exercises to the processing of more serious topics. My favorite task was when everyone had to collect their own positive traits and characteristics, and then those of a fellow group member. When we compared these at the end, it proved just how well the group members know one another. The result was not surprising, as we have been meeting regularly for seven years, sharing both the good times and the bad. The intense concentration required during the lessons was balanced out by cheerful games at the end.

As a member of this super team, I believe we hardly found any challenges during this community-building and self-awareness day.
