ProfessionAdventure in Jászberény
On Tuesday afternoon, November 25th, we had the opportunity to participate in a playful, interactive ProfessionAdventure (SzakmaKaland) at the Jászberény Community House.
For our Parents’ Academy program, Szimonetta Vuk and Judit Cseh visited us from the Bonafarm Group, showing us many, many professions. I had never really thought about the long process that leads to the production of the salami on our table. Through the presentation of Pick salami production, we received a lot of information not only about the manufacturing, but we could also think through what professions are connected to this process. Providing food for the animals and meat processing both require the coordinated work of many professionals.
We formed small groups. There was a quiz, a puzzle, and Activity, during which we laughed particularly hard. I really got lost in the games; I love these opportunities at the Foundation because, at these times, one can switch off from the everyday rush for a little while. It is good to play, to think together with our children, and to compete while acquiring a lot of new knowledge.
