Personality Development and LEGO Animation in Kaposvár
On Saturday, the young people of groups 1 and 3 in Kaposvár had another experience-filled morning, gathering at the Community House to take part in special sessions. Group 3 immersed themselves in the world of LEGO animation this time, where they tried to create short films from their own little stories using stop-motion technique. The children’s imagination soared: adventurous, funny, and sometimes scary stories were born, and everyone worked enthusiastically and persistently during their creation. Although there were minor disputes regarding the implementation of ideas, the teams always found common ground in the end, so every team completed a creative production.
Meanwhile, Group 1, led by Nóri Nógrádi, discussed important questions regarding their future. The young people are now facing the choice of high school, so it was particularly timely to review what plans they have and how they would like to achieve them in the coming years. As part of the session, everyone wrote a letter to themselves, to their five-year-older self, which they can read later-as a reminder of where they started and what goals they formulated. The meaningful and thought-provoking conversations helped the children to look at the upcoming changes more consciously.
The morning held valuable experiences for both groups. The experience of creative creation and the deep conversations about the future both contributed to the children closing the day enriched with new experiences, inspiration, and important realizations.
