Foundation-supported youth from Szentes: success in the Rotary Club tender
Fanni Lili Sebesi lives a truly active life. She not only studies well, but is also a member of the Foundation’s nature photography team. She also plays football for the Szentesi Kinizsi SC and even fishes competitively. The ever-active Fanni entered the Rotary Club competition and won a silver qualification:
“I heard from my class teacher about the scholarship competition announced by the Rotary Club, to which I applied with my nature photography activity. In the first round of the competition, I had to prepare a written introduction, in which I described in detail how I started nature photography, what techniques I use, and what motivates me in this activity. After the successful written round, I was called to the second round, for a personal interview. Here they asked me how I can combine nature photography with sports, what my long-term goals are, and why I consider this passion important.
I also talked about how the patience I learned from fishing helps a lot in photography. It was a great joy for me when I learned that I was invited to the award ceremony, where I received a silver certificate, and also received financial support, which I would like to spend on nature photography equipment. In the future, I would like to further develop my knowledge and participate in further nature photography competitions, striving to achieve ever better results. I would like to thank my mentor for his support, my mentor Péter Mikics for his help in writing the letter of recommendation, my development in photography, and the Szentes-Csongrád Rotary Club, who made this experience and recognition possible for me.” – Lili Fanni Sebesi, Szentes 1st group
