Parent-teacher meeting and mentoring session for the Pécs 2 group

The Pécs 2 group held its parent-teacher meeting over the weekend, focusing on the evaluation of the first semester’s experiences. During the meeting, the progress of upper-grade students was discussed, as well as the results and challenges of the work carried out at the foundation. Parents were given an insight into the mentoring process, through which the children regularly participate in community and developmental sessions.

In the second part of the meeting, participants reviewed the tasks ahead for the second semester, with special attention paid to upcoming programs and planned camps. Parents received detailed information about near-future events and the opportunities available to the children.

To conclude the meeting, those present were introduced to study methodology techniques that can aid more effective learning and home preparation. Additionally, the use of mobile phones was discussed, along with various forms of motivation and their role in the learning process.

In connection with the parent-teacher meeting, a mentoring session was held on Saturday at the Community House for the Pécs 2 group, where the fifth-grade students participated in the tasks with great joy and activity. As part of a composition task, they shared their difficulties regarding school challenges and summarized their positive experiences at the foundation. During the collaborative work, it was clearly visible that the group is becoming increasingly cohesive, and the students are becoming more attuned to one another.

The programs took place in a good atmosphere throughout, and the open dialogue, collective thinking, and joint work further strengthened the cooperation between parents, educators, and students.
