Parents’ Academy in Mohács
The Mohács Community House was once again filled with interested parents and students: the latest Parents’ Academy event focused on career choices and developing self-awareness. The program aimed to help young people better understand themselves and make conscious decisions about their future, while parents received useful advice on supporting their children.
The session was led by two experienced professionals from the Bonafarm Group, Szimonetta Vuk and Judit Cseh. In the first part of the presentation, children and their parents listened to the introductory talk together, after which the students completed a self-awareness questionnaire. The questions encouraged young people to identify their strengths, interests, and future goals. The results were then evaluated together, providing an opportunity for students to share their thoughts, experiences, and ask questions.
At the same time, an interactive discussion was held for parents, exploring how they can support their children during the career orientation period. Topics included effective communication, the importance of trust, and the role of parental modeling. Parents received practical advice on how to help their children make responsible and independent decisions.
At the end of the program, the presenters outlined the career opportunities and development paths available to young people at the Bonafarm Group.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for children, parents, and professionals to reflect on the future together and work collectively toward conscious career choices.
