‘Treasure Hunt’ Trip in Siófok
The end of the school year doesn’t just mark the beginning of a well-deserved break, but also a special reward for the diligent students of the Csányi Foundation. After a year of hard work—especially their achievements in the Tallér Collectors’ competition—students from the Kaposvár, Jászberény, Nagybajom, Szeged, and Szentes groups set off together on an eventful summer trip to Siófok on May 31 and June 1.
The weekend at Lake Balaton began with a shared lunch, followed by a pleasant walk to explore the town’s sights. The exhibition at the Siófok Water Tower offered not only fascinating information but also an unforgettable panoramic view of Lake Balaton from the top.
The evening held another surprise: a unique language activity where students worked in teams to creatively retell a legend connected to Siófok. Everyone completed the creative tasks with great enthusiasm and was rewarded with small but joyful prizes.
The adventure continued the next morning at the Bella Zoo. Despite the warm weather, the group remained in great spirits—meeting llamas and alpacas and, of course, taking lots of fun group photos. After lunch, we also tried the Siófok Ferris wheel, which added another exciting experience to the trip.
Though the water of Lake Balaton wasn’t quite warm enough for a swim just yet, the trip was still truly memorable. The time spent together, the cheerful atmosphere, and the diverse programs turned the weekend into a real adventure. One thing’s for sure: with a start like this, summer will be a joy to continue!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to SZELEGUBO Ltd. for their generous support, which made it possible for us to enjoy the services of the Carpe Diem Hotel.
