Mysterious Ice-Age exhibition in Szeged

The Szeged Group 1 and Group 2 began their first project session of the year with a visit to the Ice Age exhibition at the Móra Ferenc Museum in Szeged. During the Saturday session, the children learned about the climate, living creatures, and human life of the Ice Age through an interactive exhibition.

During the activity, the high school students of Szeged Group 2 guided the elementary school students of Szeged Group 1 through the new exhibition, exploring it together at a location already familiar to them.

During the session, the children could experience how enormous the cave bear, the woolly mammoth, and the cave lion were compared to themselves. Through various interactive games, they explored the life of Ice Age humans, learned how flint tools were used, and discovered how people of that era hunted mammoths living in herds.

Everyone had to pay close attention to every detail of the exhibition, because the program will continue during our lessons — this week, our English class topic will be the Ice Age, concluding with a fun quiz based on what the students saw over the weekend.
