Wrapping up the Balaton animation project

Wrapping up the Balaton animation project

Last autumn, Group 1 from Kaposvár began a special part of their Balaton Project, where the children created animated films based on legends and stories from the Lake Balaton region. The team put a tremendous amount of effort into the project: they designed characters, wrote scripts and storyboards, planned 3D backgrounds, and used a laser cutter to build and paint the sets.

Of course, they also filmed the animations themselves and recorded the voiceovers. After completing their puppet animation short film, they even created a LEGO stop-motion version of the same story.

The final touches were made on Tuesday, April 16th, at the Digital Knowledge Centre in Kaposvár.

The finished films will be showcased at the Guidance Festival, where visitors will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the animation process in the animation workshop!
