XIII. CSÁSZ Cup
“This morning we woke up quite early to taste the water from a nearby spring, which had a rather questionable flavor.
After returning to the accommodation, we had breakfast and gathered our things for the CSÁSZ Cup. Before the tournament, we discussed our strategy and warmed up. The matches were exciting, and we had a great time, as the teams were fair and performed well. During the championship, we played five matches, winning three with full points, earning one well-deserved draw in the last second, and suffering one defeat. Our team finished in 3rd place, thanks to our fighting spirit. For many of us, this was our first tournament, so it is a strong result to build on next year. After the matches, we were treated to hot goulash.
After a short, quiet rest, we got ready for the evening ice hockey match, where the Csíkszereda team hosted Dunaújváros. This was our first live ice hockey match, a truly unique experience. At first, it was a bit difficult to follow the game and the puck. The match was full of twists and turns, thanks to the strong performance of both teams, and ended with a 5-1 home victory.”

“The day began with a visit to the children’s homes in Szépvíz, organized by the Hargita County Directorate of Social and Child Protection. We had the opportunity to get insight into the daily lives of the children, learn about their little world, and personally experience the warm, supportive atmosphere in which they are raised. We didn’t come empty-handed, and as a pleasant surprise, they treated us with cookies and other goodies.
In the afternoon, we attended the friendly match between Sepsi OSK and Petrolul Ploiești, which proved to be exciting and enjoyable, ending with a 2-2 draw. Cheering together was not only fun but also strengthened the sense of community. To close the day, we watched the Hungary–Armenia World Cup qualifier, where the Hungarian team won 2-0. This victory was a fitting end to these rich, experience-filled days.”
