Science Project in Pécs

After the Easter holidays, students returned to their classes with fresh energy to continue the project of the Pécs Group 3 and Pécs Group 1. The goal today was to deepen their scientific knowledge.

“Within the framework of the science sessions, classes discussing basic climatic concepts took place, gradually introducing students to the fundamental terms and connections of climate: the focus of the session was on the difference between weather and climate, as well as the most important climatic elements (temperature, precipitation, wind). The processing of the Earth’s climatic zones and their characteristics also took place through map-based, group-work, and practice-oriented calculation tasks. We examined the factors influencing climate (latitude, altitude, proximity to oceans) through examples; furthermore, we discussed the causes and consequences of climate change in an illustrative manner tailored to age-specific characteristics. With the transfer of all this knowledge, the preparation for the field sessions has also been completed.” – Dr. Zoltán Wilhelm PhD, MSc, Habil. developer
